Brisbane Marathon training progressing well, peaking in 2 weeks time, lots of KMs but feeling good so far. Doing a 21 weeks of hard effort, enjoying the training sessions. Race on 07 June 2026.

Currently enjoying The Infinity Machine by Sebastian Mallaby, The Coming Wave by Mustafa Suleyman, Guns Germs and Steel by Jared Diamon, How the Scots Invented the Modern World by Arthur Herman and finally finished The Great Depression: A Diary by Benjamin Roth. All great reads, highly recommend.
Miles are creeping up, so more solo runs now. Daugther keen to start training for her 10k race in Gold Coast in July, so might start to come along. My son is more into mountain bike now.
